Professional Coaching and Caring Parents

Anderson Youth Soccer is unique in the north state in combining the best of all worlds for its teams, including:

  • Professional coach/trainer, to teach our players correct fundamentals and fine points of soccer and athletic competition
  • Separate Coaching Clinics for our own coaches
  • Academy training for our U8 and U10 players
  • Caring parents, to support the team from above, below and the sidelines

The club provides the fields, license training, access to CYSA, and other forms of administrative support necessary for competitive soccer teams to operate efficiently and effectively.

Quick Note from the President...

I want to welcome all the soccer players and parents to the fall season and give you an update on a number of things.

Always looking for ways to improve the league, we have added some new features:

The Fields – The fields this season look spectacular! A lot of hard work and sweat went into improving the turf. We have fixed sprinklers, reseeded and fertilized several times. A point of interest – most of you may not know – the Anderson Youth Soccer League operates and maintains the soccer fields, not the city. Please pick up any plastic bottles and garbage for everyone to enjoy the fields.

Dogs – Please leave your dogs at home. It is a very unpleasant surprise to step or sit in a pile of dog poop! We will gentle remind everyone and post signs around the field.

Club Leadership

Anderson Youth Soccer Club board and volunteers are responsible for providing overall leadership to our club. They are the backbone, conscience and visionaries for the overall direction of our program. As a group their responsibilities are:

  • Smooth Operation - The smooth operation of the program and ensuring that all players and parents have a positive club experience
  • Integrity of the Program - Ensure that our club always adheres to it's key principals and values
  • Financial Oversight - Operating a fiscally responsible program and maintain a cost structure such that most players within our geographic area can participate in Anderson Soccer
  • Supporting On-Field Operations - The success of the club depends on our on-field product and supporting the players and coaches who work daily on the developmental and game success
  • Supporting the local Community - We are a community first program and ensuring that we give back and operate for the benefit of the overall community.
  • Working with CYSA, District IX, CCSL and USClub - These organizations provide us the opportunity to play and also give us the infrastructure for success, we will always be a conscientious member of these organizations and operate in an open and honest manner with them.
