The Anderson Youth Soccer League registration fees have remained the same for many years. We have managed to do so through cost controls. Beginning Fall 2011 season, WE LOWERED OUR U6 AND U8 DIVISION RATES! In doing so, we encourage everyone to tell a friend and neighbor we have made soccer affordable for everyone!

Continued Coaching Incentives

We recognize the precious time Coaches spend volunteering. In appreciation and loyalty to the league and its players, the Anderson Youth Soccer League is awarding registration refunds to the Head Coach and the 1st Assistant Coach based upon coaching certification at the start of each season and the following sliding scale:

• F License = 33% of one registration fee will be refunded;
• E License = 66% of one registration fee will be refunded;
• E/DLicense=100% of one registration fee will be refunded;

Each coach or assistant coach may receive a maximum of one player registration refund per team coached. Reimbursement is based on the coaches' certification status at of the start of each season. So as not to impede the registration and team formation process, full payment must be made for all players at the time of registration. Coaching refunds are issued based on the above sliding scale once teams are formed and coaches are assigned.

Age Group Chart

Use the chart to determine which age group to register your player. A player must be between 4 and 18 years of age as of July 31, 2011 to participate in the AYSL youth soccer program. The chart shows what age group your child would play in based upon their birthdate.

Registration Information

AYSL has two main registration periods. January and February for the Spring Season and April & May for the Fall Season of play. We notify all members via direct mail, the website, email, and other media outlets of the upcoming registration events.
 

What’s needed to register a player?

  • 1x1-1/2" Color photo of the player with their name written on the back.

    If a child is 8 years old or older, born before 08/01/2003, you must provide a photo of the child with your registration application. Pictures must be current. Players that registered in the spring and received photo packets will not need to submit photos.

    NEW! - Photos can be uploaded for player passes when registering online

    These photos will be laminated onto the player’s playing league pass – please do not submit over-sized pictures – as they do not fit correctly onto the space provided on the player pass. Do not submit photos for children born after the above date.
     
  • An official county or state issued birth certificate, passport, and alien registration card issued by the United States Government, a current driver’s license, or a current identification card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles. NOTE: If your child played in the past three years, and you submitted proof of age, you are not required to submit it again. HOSPITAL ISSUED CERTIFICATES, BAPTISM CERTIFICATES, OR OTHER RELIGIOUS CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS PROOF OF AGE.
     
  • Registration Fees

ALL MAIL-IN, WALK-IN AND ONLINE REGISTRATIONS MUST INCLUDE THE ABOVE DOCUMENTATION, AND THE APPROPRIATE REGISTRATION FEES. INCOMPLETE PACKETS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.

Don’t want to register online? Looking for the downloadable form? You can find it here. Complete and print this form (2 copies) and bring it to one of our walk-in registrations along with the picture and birth document (if necessary).

Coaches

All interested coaches and assistant coaches must click the appropriate Volunteer choice when you registrar your child, and register as a coach and/or assistant coach by completing the CYSA form 1628 and fill out the Coach Information Worksheet. Turn both forms into the league registrar.

Spring 2012 Registration Fees *

Under 6 Age Group: $40*
If your child is 5 years old or younger on August 1, 2011, he/she will be in the U6 age group. Child must turn 4 before the end of the season.

Under 8 Age Group: $50*
If your child is 7 years old or younger on August 1, 2011, he/she will be in the U8 age group.

Under 10 Age Group: $75*
If your child is 9 years old or younger on August 1, 2011, he/she will be in the U10 age group.

Under 12 Age Group: $90*
If your child is 11 years old or younger on August 1, 2011, he/she will be in the U12 age group.

Under 14 Age Group: $90*
If your child is 13 years old or younger on August 1, 2011, he/she will be in the U14 age group.

Under 16 Age Group: $95*
If your child is 15 years old or younger on August 1, 2011, he/she will be in the U16 age group.

Under 19 Age Group: $95*
If your child is 18 years old or younger on August 1, 2011, he/she will be in the U19 age group.

Uniform Size:  Please mark at the bottom of the form, when you mail it in, the players UNIFORM SIZE.

Sizes are:
Youth XSmall, Youth Small, Youth Medium, Youth Large, Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large, Adult XLarge and Adult XXLarge.
